Connectivity & Travel (International Participants)
▾
Active Phone Connection: Please ensure to activate international roaming for a working mobile connection upon arrival, for local calls, as Wi-Fi may not be available everywhere. International travellers are advised to purchase a prepaid SIM card upon arrival in India. You will need to provide your passport, valid visa, and a passport-size photograph. It is recommended to carry a few extra copies.
Small Cash: Carry small denominations of Indian Rupees (INR) for local markets and minor purchases. Digital payments are common, but cash is necessary.
Power Adapters: India uses Type C, D, and M plugs (230V). Carry a power bank (Optional) ensures phone is charged during long flights or distance travel.
