Terms & Conditions
The plain-English summary first, the full legal text below it. Both say the same thing.
The simple summary
Our honest agreement- We are guides, not doctors. Our programs are for lifestyle transformation. We do not treat illnesses. If a breathwork session, diet change, or physical activity triggers a latent health issue, that falls outside our responsibility. Please consult your doctor before joining us.
- Your safety is your responsibility. Our workshops move around — forests, mountains, or coastal areas like Mysore. If you act recklessly, ignore safety guidelines, or wander off and injure yourself, we cannot be held responsible for your medical bills or emergency transport.
- Financial limits. In the highly unlikely event of a legal dispute, the maximum amount we would ever be liable to refund is strictly limited to the fee you paid us for the program — nothing more.
- Respect the space. We reserve the right to remove anyone who disrupts the environment or disrespects others, without a refund.
- Our work is our own. Please use our materials for your personal growth, but do not copy or sell them.
Legal terms & conditions
By accessing the website (www.yukah.co), booking an online consultation, or registering for an offline workshop or retreat (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply globally to all participants, clients, and website visitors.
Yukah provides holistic lifestyle, nutrition, and wellness education.
- Not Medical Advice. The information, practices (including yoga, breathwork, meditation, and sound bathing), and dietary guidance provided are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Pre-existing Conditions & Triggers. You acknowledge that wellness practices can be physically and psychologically demanding. Yukah is not liable for any physical or mental health conditions, known or unknown, that are triggered, aggravated, or developed during or after participation. The burden is entirely on you to obtain clearance from a licensed physician before participating.
Our workshops and retreats are hosted in varying global locations, which may include remote, forested, coastal, or off-grid environments.
- Inherent Hazards. You understand that natural, changing terrains carry inherent risks, including uneven ground, wildlife, changing climates, and limited immediate access to medical facilities.
- Personal Responsibility. You agree to assume all risks associated with your participation. If you sustain an injury (e.g., a broken bone, sprain, or illness) due to your own negligence, reckless behavior, or failure to follow given instructions at any venue, Yukah assumes zero liability for your medical care, evacuation, or loss of income.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yukah, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your participation in the Services.
- Absolute Liability Cap. Under no circumstances shall Yukah’s total liability to you for any and all claims, damages, losses, or causes of action exceed the exact total amount paid by you to Yukah for the specific program or service in dispute. We do not cover external medical bills, travel disruptions, or emotional distress claims.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yukah and its founders from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, and expenses (including reasonable legal and attorney fees) made by any third party or yourself, arising from your breach of these Terms, your reckless behavior during a workshop, or your failure to disclose a relevant medical condition.
- Cancellations by You. Due to the intimate capacity of our retreats, strict cancellation policies apply. Non-refundable deposits will be retained to cover administrative costs.
- Code of Conduct. Harassment, disruptive behavior, or failure to comply with safety guidelines will result in immediate termination of your participation. Yukah reserves the right to remove you from an online or offline program immediately, without any refund or compensation.
All content provided by Yukah, including program structures, digital brochures, frameworks, and visual media, are the exclusive intellectual property of Yukah. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any of our materials without prior written consent.
Regardless of where a workshop or retreat is hosted globally, these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India.
We reserve the right to revise, update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion and in accordance with applicable law. Any changes take effect as soon as they are posted on this page, and the “last updated” date above will reflect the revision. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically; your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Yukah regarding the Services.
