About Us

Our Philosophy & Our Origins

Our Philosophy 🌿
We believe wellbeing is not something to consume. ✨
It is something to practice — every day. At Yukah, we do not promise quick fixes. We guide people into a relationship with themselves that becomes steady, resilient, and self-sustaining.
This is the path we walk. 🏔️
This is the space we hold. 🧘
And this is the journey we now share with you. 🤝

About Yukah

Yukah began as a deeply personal journey — born from struggle, transformation, and quiet realizations. ✨

"Because the journey inward is best traveled with those who have walked the path themselves." 🏔️

True health is not a product or a program, but a way of living. Our work is shaped by real experiences and lived practice.

Our Origins

Where It All Began — Aarti's Story

Aarti's journey into wellbeing was not a smooth one.

As a teenager, she lived with obesity, PCOS, disc degeneration, gut issues, and years of body-shaming. Later, as a senior manager in a fast-paced corporate world, her life was driven by the familiar "work hard, play harder" rhythm — layered with diet trends, health products, and constant confusion around what wellness was supposed to look like.

Nothing truly worked. Doctors never worked on the root of her problems, and the more she chased solutions, the further she felt from balance.

Eventually, exhaustion became awakening. Through years of self-study, disciplined experimentation, yogic practice, and a slow restructuring of her daily life, she discovered something both simple and powerful:

"Health does not come from fixing the body — it comes from understanding it."

Her own healing became her life's purpose. What began as a personal journey grew into Yukah — a space to help others learn how to live well, steadily, and sustainably.

Aditya's Path & The Shift to Vaatalya

A Shared Journey of Learning & Service

Aditya

Around this time, Aditya's own life was unfolding through deep inquiry and change. Drawn toward a quieter, more conscious way of living, he moved to the mountains of Himachal Pradesh — to a remote mountaintop that would eventually become Vaatalya Community Retreat. There, he chose to live in near-isolation, away from city structures, building a life shaped by the land, the seasons, and simple daily rhythms.

Over the years, Vaatalya evolved into a living experiment in slow, intentional life:

  • 🌱 Growing food
  • 🤝 Working with local communities
  • 🧘 Practicing yoga and meditation
  • 🏔️ Creating a space where people could step out of modern noise and return to themselves.

When Aarti and Aditya's paths truly aligned...

Together, they chose to live at Vaatalya, allowing life itself to become their classroom.

✍️ Practiced.
👁️ Observed.
Refined.
🧠 Unlearned.
📚 Learned again.

And from this living laboratory of experience, Yukah's work matured.

Now — A Shared Journey Forward

Today, Yukah is the expression of both their journeys — personal, imperfect, honest, and deeply lived. 🌿 From their life at Vaatalya, Aarti and Aditya now hold workshops, retreats, and programs that integrate:

🧘 Yogic Practices
🌬️ Breath-work
🥗 Nutrition
🔔 Sound Therapy
🌲 Nature Connection

What they teach is not theory. It is the life they themselves live. ✨
